The Fundació Miró incorporates 59 works on loan from the artist's family. The group of 54 works by Joan Miró and 5 by Alexander Calder was previously deposited at the Espacio Miró of the Mapfre Foundation in Madrid. The artist's family has donated the works for a five-year renewable period.
