Why did you choose Barcelona?
I chose Barcelona because it combines quality of life, international talent, and a highly dynamic startup ecosystem. For a founder, it’s a city that allows you to think big: from here, you can build a technology company with European and global ambition.
What are the city’s strengths?
I would highlight its international openness, its ability to attract talent, and the strength of its entrepreneurial community. Barcelona has a very vibrant startup ecosystem: events, networking, investors, and professionals from different countries coexist in an environment that fosters new opportunities.
Which aspects of the city need to be improved? How?
I would improve connectivity with other strategic markets and further enhance the ability to support startup growth. Barcelona is already a very attractive hub, but it can strengthen its role as a bridge between Europe, the Mediterranean, and emerging markets such as the Middle East.
What do you expect from Barcelona in the coming years?
I envision an increasingly international, technological, and sustainable Barcelona, capable of consolidating itself as one of Europe’s leading innovation hubs.
Which city do you consider to be your home city? What do you miss most?
Barcelona is my city, I call it home. It is the best city in Europe, and it is here where I want to build my future and live under the best possible conditions.
