The emergence of AI, its infinite functions with which we are learning to obtain information in seconds, and with which we accelerate our daily lives, is coming to London with the new AI centre created by Microsoft. With this centre, the British city aims to transform the image of the new algorithms for more ethical and responsible ones. This initiative also presents an opportunity to retain and attract quality local and foreign talent.
In Catalonia, there is a growing need to automate and increase its competitiveness due to its population rates. This is why the transformation of the Catalan capital needs to be able to count on the participation of public and private institutions. Through AI and the new algorithms that are appearing, they can optimise and make Barcelona a more efficient and concurrent city. Projects such as those at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center show that there is potential, but that by collaborating with companies and universities that study the most efficient models, the city will be able to achieve a fairer transition.
