Modena has taught me the value of collaboration and synergies. For some time now, the automotive and food industries–Modena’s two economic foundations–have worked on projects together, finding synergies and benefiting from public-private collaboration.

"To summarize, I think we have several things in common: the desire to collaborate and generate synergies; innovation and excellence; and tremendous passion and self-esteem," says Chiazza. He believes that Barcelona must do its utmost to maximize collaboration between universities and companies and it should focus its efforts on communicating the city's economic ecosystem nationally and internationally.
