Esplugues and Badalona: the new districts of innovation of AMB, by Ramon Gras

Boston is opting towards the creation of two innovative districts close to universities and to the industrial fabric area con el with the aim of consolidating the region as the 1st center of Global Talent..

Both in the districts of Harvard Allston and Union Square, it is expected to develop a urbanistic and economic plan as well as metro lines and green spaces to reinforce its urban attractiveness.

In the metropolitan region of Barcelona, Esplugues and Badalona are called to host the new districts of innovation of reference in Catalonia,states Gras. Esplugues de Llobregat and Pedralbes-Bonanova as areas of innovation concentration in the academic field through the future campus of the Clínic, Sant Joan de Déu, as well as public and private universities, together with 370 startups. Badalona and Sant Adrià as areas of regeneration of the industrial fabric activated through robotics, industrial design, and pharmaceutical sector, among others.
