In New York, on the other hand, the stress that this entails is alleviated through a new culture, a new and rewarding vision of work. Niki Civit says that companies need to promote "diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, at the same time as companies build loyalty, excellence and productivity".

"Barcelona must invest in its human capital and correct the current asymmetrical relationship between company and employee," says Civit. To do this, companies must promote corporate values that are culturally aligned with people and promote diverse teams. On the employee side, it is necessary to change our work mentality to eliminate the current "work-life" dichotomy and achieve the union and balance of both activities.
