A commitment to excellence and more sustainable mobility, by Ferran Andreu

Ferran Andreu

Sales director for SEAT and CUPRA in AMAG Group

Ferran Andreu, sales director for the SEAT and CUPRA brands at AMAG Group in Switzerland, points out how working from home, compulsory in Zurich for over a year now, has been “surprisingly successful in replacing work at the office.” Healthcare measures in Switzerland have been “clear and simple,” while, unlike in Spain, face masks have never been compulsory in the street and restaurants and bars remained closed until May this year.

He also says that that Barcelona’s health system has been seen as “advanced and committed” and has conveyed “a robust image.” Also perceived in a positive light were “the pioneering attempts to recover large-scale events linked to culture and the Mobile World Congress, which was held partly in person this year.

Andreu suggests taking advantage of opportunities to improve the quality of tourism in Barcelona and to attract events with greater added value. He also suggests developing an integrated global mobility system that includes both public transport and vehicle-sharing. Lastly, he says that more electricity charging points should be available in the city and measures should be adopted to encourage more people to make the move to electric vehicles.
