Barcelona Global presenta the 6th edition of the Barcelona Global International Talent Monitor, the survey carried out in collaboration with Banco Sabadell that seeks to better understand the challenges faced by international talent living and working in Barcelona.
With more than 1,000 responses and 8 focus groups, this is a comprehensive report that allows us to monitor the needs of this talent and define calls of action.
Barcelonians by choice continue to rate Barcelona highly for its quality of life, health system, cultural offerings, connectivity and public transport, aspects that they believe contribute to make it attractive for impactful talent to choose Barcelona as a city to work, research, create, invest or undertake. They also highlight housing, bureaucracy and air quality as challenges that the city must face.
International talent also believes that Barcelona should promote sectors such as sustainability, culture, education, technology and the startup ecosystem to boost the city's economy and innovation.
