Barcelona in the Rankings, a project to improve the international position of Barcelona
The tool allows consulting and analyzing the presence of Barcelona in international rankings and in the future work will be carried to improve positions
Yesterday, we presented the Barcelona in the Rankings project at the Fàbrica Lehmann, together with ideograma, to improve the positioning of the city in the main international rankings.
We counted with the speeches by Antoni Gutiérrez-Rubí, Director of ideograma, Pau Guardans i Cambó, Chairman of Barcelona Global, and with the participation of Julio Villalobos, Corporate Director of ESADE and Jorge Monje, General Director of Mandarin Oriental Barcelona.
The first stage of this initiative consists in creating a website that allows you to consult and analyze Barcelona's presence in rankings from different fields drawn up by prestigious consulting firms and international organizations.

In the second phase of the project, Barcelona Global and ideograma will continue to work together to improve the city's position. Those responsible for the rankings where Barcelona is worst positioned will be contacted to ensure that they have access to the correct information when evaluating the variables, and work will be carried with important rankings where Barcelona does not yet appear in the top they publish, such as the 2017-Global Cities of the Future or the European Digital City Index.
This project is part of our double commitment as an association: not only do we work to make Barcelona a better city, attractive for talent and economic activity, but we also want the world to know and recognize it.

We made it happen!
