The purpose of Barcelona 2040 is to train and connect young talent, to make Barcelona known from all its fields and develop proposals for the future. 

The program:

During the program the participants will have the opportunity to know the city through 11 sessions and visits to companies and institutions from different sectors and conversations with more than 40 experts - the main stakeholders of these sectors and of the city (business leaders, science, culture, gastronomy knowledge, sports, industry, journalism and politics).

Each edition of the program will work on two city challenges in a group and two dynamics organized by Imagine, a disruptive innovation program driven by Xavier Verdaguer, member of Barcelona Global.

The conclusions of each edition will be presented in a final session with all the companies and professionals involved, and the participation of the Mayor of Barcelona is expected.

• To promote the creation of a transversal networking structure.

• To enable the natural incorporation of young and talented businesspeople to the dynamics of Barcelona Global.

• To promote work skills such as leadership, excellence, and professionalism.

• To actively participate in today's city challenges.

• To get involved in the approach and resolution of urban challenges.

Needed requirements:

Candidates must be between 26 and 33 years old, be professionally active, and have between 5 to 8 years of work experience. The program's price is 500 euros, and 300 euros for those under 30.
