On Friday 16 December at 13:00h the session 'The Barcelona of science' will take place, the sixth session of the leadership and city programme for young people: Barcelona 2043.
Biomedicine, photonics, supercomputing and economic and social sciences are some of the fields that the city is constantly developing, placing Barcelona on the road to becoming a leader in European scientific research.
This session will be held at the headquarters of the Barcelona Supercomputing Centre - National Supercomputing Centre (BSC-CNS), one of the most important high-performance computing centres in Europe. It will also be attended by its associate director Josep Maria Martorell and the rapporteur Carles Escolà, editor-in-chief and information coordinator of EFE Catalunya.
