Barcelona en primera persona - Visit Espais Volart

Do not miss the visit to Espais Volart, which will take place on May 5 at 6:30pm and during which you will have the opportunity to discover the exhibition 'Vicenç Viaplana, The Loci of Painting' in a guided tour of its commissioners Àlex Susanna, Art Director of the Fundació Vila Casas, and Natàlia Chocarro, Director of External Projects of the Fundació Vila Casas.

The Espais Volart, opened in 2002 and extended in 2017, host temporary exhibitions of work by contemporary Catalan artists featured in the collection. With the exhibition Vicenç Viaplana, the Loci of Painting, the Fundació Vila Casas seeks to promote this artist’s or by holding its largest ever exhibition to map out his career over more than forty years, which stands out as a resounding response to the purported end of painting. 

This visit is part of the Barcelona en primera persona program that seeks to bring Barcelonians closer to the main tourist and cultural attractions of Barcelona, taking advantage of this moment when the city is empty of visitors.
