Visit Recado da Mata, the fourth exhibition by Caio Reisewitz at Galeria Joan Prats

Next Friday, May 7, at 12pm you will have the opportunity to discover in a guided tour, Recado da Mata, the fourth exhibition of Caio Reisewitz at Galeria Joan Prats.

Olivier Collet, Artistic Director of Galeria Joan Prats, will explain you 11 photographs, a video and an audio that are part of the exhibition and also, you will be able to talk to the artist.

Caio Reisewitz, one of the most important photographers from Brazil, has focused his work on the difficult relationship between nature and people. Most of the photographs gathered in this exhibition are a response to the reading of books written by two great thinkers and indigenous leaders working in Brazil today: A queda do céu [The fall of heaven] by Davi Kopenawa with co-authorship from Bruce Albert, and Ideias para adiar o fim do mundo [Ideas to postpone the end of the world] by Ailton Krenak.
